ALINE SMANIOTTO
holds a degree in Anthropology from UNICAMP, a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology, and a professional background that connects research, communication, market intelligence, and drinking and gastronomic culture. She specialized in Consumer Anthropology at ESPM, Market Intelligence and Research at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and is a Beer Sommelier certified by the Instituto da Cerveja Brasil.
For more than a decade, she has worked in the beverage and gastronomy sectors, developing projects that combine market analysis, consumer behavior, brand building, and live experiences. Her professional journey includes roles at Cervejaria Dádiva, Realli Insumos Cervejeiros, Startup Brewing, and Geest Destilaria, where she led initiatives in marketing, content, events, and strategic positioning.
Her work combines the rigor of anthropological research with a sensitive understanding of eating and drinking as cultural expressions. Aline investigates how consumption habits reveal identities, narratives, and forms of belonging, transforming data, trends, and field observation into creative and relevant projects for brands and audiences.
She is a co-founder of the Cerveja E.L.A. collective, co-author of the book Guia da Sommelieria de Cervejas, and author of articles on fermented beverages and the decolonization of taste. She also took part in the curation and production of Encontro Selvagem, an initiative dedicated to promoting the microbiological and cultural diversity of fermentation in Brazil.
Her perspective combines analytical depth and cultural sensitivity to translate what is most vibrant, complex, and meaningful in the world of beverages.
Bia Amorim
has worked in gastronomy and hospitality for more than 20 years. She holds a degree in Hospitality from Grande Hotel Senac – Águas de São Pedro and a postgraduate degree in Food Service Business Management from Senac São Paulo. She is also a Beer Sommelier certified by Doemens Academy/SENAC (2010) and has specialized training in coffee and sake.
In 2010, she joined the brewing industry as Marketing Manager at Cervejaria Colorado. In 2012, she founded Por Obséquio, a consultancy focused on marketing, sommelieria, and content curation for companies in the food and beverage sector.
She collaborates with various media outlets and has served as a judge in more than 30 beer competitions. From 2016 to 2024, she was Publisher of Farofa Magazine. In 2022, she released the book Guia da Sommelieria de Cervejas, which she organized and co-authored alongside 27 contributors, published by Krater.
She has judged a wide range of beverage competitions, primarily in the beer sector, but also the Mapa da Cachaça Guide by SENAC (2024), the Prêmio Brasil do Cacau à Barra (Bean to Bar Association, 2024/2025), and the Brazilian Kombucha Competition (2019).
She is the sommelier for Mbee’s beer project, which promotes awareness of native Brazilian bees. She was named Best Beer Sommelier in Brazil by Prazeres da Mesa magazine in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
